Project Description: Logo design for local Women's hockey team
I was approached to design a logo for a women's hockey team based out of Guelph, On. The client provided me with a illustrated character which they had wished to centre the design around, see: "Wooga".
After discussing the direction they wanted to go and the feel they intended for their logo I immediately I began to workshop ideas. Eventually I provided the client with 2 mock-ups, the second of which was selected.

The final design incorporates four colours + black and white, and a custom dieline. Intended to convey a sense of "manic energy" and "silliness" with a cartoon, almost Looney Tune-esq, feel. Reminiscent of Saturday morning cartoons; of which the players all grew up in the era of.
